We want to help parents
stop or slow down
myopia progression in
their children so they can
live their best life.

A jump in prescription of your child’s
vision shouldn’t stop their growth in life.

But understanding myopia progression, why it’s happening
and what you can do about it can be complicated.

Some eye doctors don’t know enough about myopia or simply
prescribe new glasses each year to offer a quick fix which
doesn’t work. All of this can be very confusing.

That’s why we created Hoot.

We wanted to make the parent and patient experience as
clear, comfortable, convenient and effective as possible.

We want parents to feel comfortable and have trust in the
science and Hoot doctors along with a clinical care team that works to
provide kids with confidence, clear and healthy vision
delivered seamlessly through a digital + live in person
experience.

At Hoot, your child's vision is in good hands. We take great care of their myopia - with a thorough and detailed assessment, a rigorous plan backed by science and a support team - using technology to give the best myopia management experience you and your kids will love.

Our Care is Science Based

Halting myopia progression in kids is important because evidence shows that left uncontrolled, myopia increases the risk of kids having macular degeneration, retinal detachment and glaucoma earlier in their adult life.*

The science also shows us that reducing screen time, having more outdoor play and improving study habits and posture are critical success factors in halting myopia progression.

We use science to develop the right plan for your child.

And bring you access to licensed and trained eye doctors in your area who share our purpose for ensuring great vision for your child.
