Myopia is a chronic and progression abnormality of the eye growing too long. As the eye continues to grow longer it will greatly increase the likelihood of developing irreversible vision loss from conditions like myopia maculopathy, cataracts, retinal detachment, and glaucoma. It's never too early to start a child's myopia management journey. Doing nothing is the greatest risk.
