Message 1: Watch out for Pre-Myopia in .
Hello ,
Dr. here writing you this message today to let you know that based on current clinical findings it appears that may be at greater risk for developing a condition called myopia or commonly known as nearsightedness.
This is because like many of the kids in our practice, may not be spending enough time outdoors in natural light, might be doing too much near work or there is a strong family history of myopia. I want to do the best I can for to prevent the progression of myopia if they have it or develop it.
One of the best things to do for myopia management is shift behaviors. Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing information with you to help shift behaviors and to learn about myopia so that can have healthy vision as they grow.
Left untreated, possible myopia in may progress which can be a concern.
Here is a video from CBS that explains the myopia epidemic.
Please look out for future messages from me through the Hoot Myopia Care system.
Thank you,
Dr.
