Hi , I hope you got a chance to watch the videos I sent you the other day.
Unfortunately these days our kids are glued to their devices and this concerns not only parents like yourself but eye doctors like me because it puts their vision at risk later on in life. So, I am sending you a specific video about encouraging to not lean into screens during studying time.
Good study posture is important.
Here is a video about what other parents decided to do.
Thanks,

Hi ,
Just checking in. Sending you a final couple of videos. The main problem with myopia is that we live in an increasingly digital world and our kids are spending more time on screens and less time playing outside which helps strengthen our near-far vision. Right now, ’s myopia is getting worse and I believe that effective therapies and reducing screen time can help in slowing down this progression.
I’m here to help you in this journey and together we can help have great vision.
Here is a video about what other parents decided to do.
Why parents must act now.
As your eye doctor, I am committed to helping you not only to manage ’s myopia but also to help shift them to positive behaviors of reducing screen time and increasing outdoor play so they are well prepared to take on their future journey in college.
I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming myopia consultation visit at my office.

Hi ,
I’ve enrolled you in a myopia management education program because has been diagnosed with myopia or myopia progression which means that their eyesight is getting worse and may continue to deteriorate if we don’t do something about it.
As your eye doctor, I am going to share a few videos with you over the course of this week to help you learn about myopia progression, why it happens, the risks associated with it and how we may be able to help slow down the progression.
I hope these videos will help inform you about myopia so that we can decide on which approach to take for .
The first video I will be sending you is on why may have developed myopia.
The second video is about why glasses aren’t the solution for progressive myopia. ’s myopia will continue to progress because glasses do not address the underlying situation that causes myopia which is the stretching of the retina.
Left unaddressed, science shows us that there are serious problems that could happen to ’s eye health in the future such as macular degeneration, retinal detachment and early onset glaucoma.
Getting new glasses or contacts every year is not the solution. Here is why.
